You need to make sure that you're using a concealing service designed for affiliate marketing - and there aren't almost as many of those.

I have heard horror stories of individual who used redirection services such as TinyURL and Bitly - seemingly they are infamous for often screwing up affiliate links and not giving you credit for any sales. Many other link limiting services will have these problems as well.

The good link cloaker is one that you can set on your own site so you don't have to agonize about anything breaking down or not operating properly. As I mentioned before, this can be hard to make if you aren't a programmer - or willing to pay one.
